PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
• Create awareness of Save the nature benefits to all staff on a regular basis.
• Work in collaboration with Administration department in the renewal of medical
insurance, GPA with preferred providers annually and update the medical insurance list
and GPA list with drops and new staff or mentors as and when they happen.
• Maintain contact between the medical insurance provider, GPA service provider and
Youth Save the nature to solve queries, ensure staff have medical cards and all
staff/mentors are covered on GPA at all times
• Explain and promote established Youth Save the nature HR policies and procedures to
employees.
• Carry out staff performance appraisal and prepare training need assessment.
• Create forms, templates, and other human resources related documents to make work

• Keep up-to-date files for all staff including all HR related documents, contracts,
addendums, discipline records, training and development, leave records etc.
• Verify on a regular basis that staff information in the HR report is consistent with hard
copy file records.
• Enter and update relevant employee information in HR databases; keeping both soft and
hard copy files well-organized and accessible to management staff.
• Prepare support documents for staff including bank letters, introduction letters etc.
• Update the leave tracker on Google drive on a monthly basis and share the tracker with
all managers
• Updating Leave Procedures, payroll procedure, HR department new staff orientation
procedure, staff exit and clearance procedure and other procedures as and when deemed
necessary in the organization.

• Prepare payroll and settle payroll related liabilities to relevant authorities
• Absence tracking for support staff in correspondence with human resource staff record.
• Schedule and oversee recruitment, orientation, entry and exit interviews
• Process, and follow through on any HR department related payments e.g. professional
services, Group Personal Accidents, medical insurance, scholarships, and any other such
payments.
• Update the Close User Group (CUG) list and send it to Administration department on a
monthly basis.
• Perform employee on boarding, development, needs assessment, and training.
• Prepare and keep up to date the staff training and development calendar.
• Oversee agreed staff training and development programs.
• Provide support and guidance to managers and staff in HR related issues
• Support the international staff in the documentation process like getting working permits
and settling in Uganda
